Description
A simple and quick recipe for baked brie using only three ingredients: brie, jam, and puff pastry.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 (13.2-ounce) wheel brie cheese
- 1/4 cup jam (any flavor)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the puff pastry sheet onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Place the wheel of brie in the center of the puff pastry.
- Spread the jam evenly over the top of the brie cheese.
- Fold the puff pastry up and over the brie, sealing the edges. You can trim excess pastry if needed, or leave it for a rustic look.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the brie is melted and gooey.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve with crackers, apple slices, or crusty bread.
- Feel free to experiment with different jams or preserves, such as raspberry, apricot, or fig.
- For an extra touch, brush the puff pastry with an egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 teaspoon water) before baking for a shinier crust.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated gently.
