My Story

I’m Alexander Brooks, a guy who didn’t set out to master smoothies and drinks but somehow became the go-to blender guy among my friends and family. I’m 30, based in sunny Florida, where the citrus is fresh, the ice melts fast, and hydration is a full-time lifestyle.

Growing up, I was never the kid glued to cooking shows, but I was endlessly curious about how flavors worked especially in liquid form. I started making smoothies in college, mostly out of necessity (and a serious lack of time or cooking skills). What started with frozen fruit and almond milk turned into full-on blender experiments—tinkering with spices, adaptogens, protein combos, and greens I couldn’t even pronounce at first.

The Turning Point

Everything changed after a long stretch of burnout in my late 20s. I was juggling work, stress, and trying to stay healthy—but nothing stuck. Then, on a random morning, I blended a smoothie with oat milk, spinach, frozen pineapple, ginger, and lime. Simple. But that one drink felt like fuel instead of just food.

That’s when I realized I wasn’t just throwing ingredients in a blender I was creating balance. That one recipe became the beginning of my ritual. I started journaling ingredients, logging energy levels, and sharing concoctions with coworkers who kept asking, “What’s in that cup?”

What I Learned the Hard Way

I learned the hard way that not every “healthy” drink actually makes you feel good. I also tried to copy other people’s routines instead of listening to my own needs.
