Ingredients

  • 4 cups cold water

Instructions

  1. Combine coffee grounds and cold water in a large jar or pitcher.
  2. Stir to ensure all grounds are saturated.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for 12-24 hours. The longer it steeps, the stronger the flavor.
  4. Strain the coffee concentrate through a fine-mesh sieve lined with cheesecloth or a coffee filter into another container. Discard the grounds.
  5. Dilute the cold brew concentrate with water or milk to your desired strength. Typically, a 1:1 ratio of concentrate to liquid is a good starting point.
  6. Serve over ice.
