- 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
- 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spread the yellow cake mix evenly.
- Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the dry cake mix.
- Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix and pecans.
- In a separate bowl, combine the cherry pie filling and apple pie filling. Spoon this mixture over the buttered cake mix.
- In another small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture over the pie filling.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
