Instructions

  1. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes per side, until pink and opaque. Do not overcook.
  4. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and cook for another 1-2 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly.
  5. Stir in the fresh parsley.
  6. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
